Marlon Brando was an American actor, of film and stage. Brando is most remembered for his roles in “On the Waterfront” in 1954, “The Godfather” in 1972, and “Apocalypse Now” in 1979. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice for his roles in “On the Waterfront” and “The Godfather.” Aside from acting, Brando was also known for being an activist, especially in the Civil Rights moment and many Native American movements.
